Terra-Lynn Snape our current Senior Stage/Tap Scholarship winner was also recently named HotShoes Idol.

Terra-Lynn a student of the Janice Lynn School of Dance in Whitby Ontario has been dancing for the past 14 years. Her teachers Miss Janice Lynn and Miss Mary Knights have been a positive influence on her life as well as dancing career.

In July of 2005 Terra-Lynn was granted the honour of being named “Hotshoes News Senior Dance Idol” at the Pick the Stars Competition in Montreal.

Terra-Lynn studies about 20 hours a week taking tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, modern and Irish dancing. Though she leads a busy schedule between dancing, assisting her teachers, homework and school activities she still finds the time to dedicate herself to achieving her personal goal. One of which is completing all her levels of each and every dance syllabi and achieving her Associate’s certificate so that she can become a certified teacher.

Terra-Lynn is also very proud of her other accomplishments of first runner-up for Elite at the Footloose Internationals in Orlando Florida. She has also won many other overalls and with her studio’s competitive team achieved high overall scores at many competitions.

She has been competing for the past 8 years and she feels performing for others is one of the greatest experiences she has had. Someday she hopes to pursue a dance career with a large production company and share her joy and love of dance with others. She believes with hard work, dedication, and the love and support of her family and teachers she will achieve this goal.
